MLIS Students Charity

πDay Charity Event – “Pie the Teacher”
March 14 · MLIS Charity Activity
Every year on March 14 (3.14), students at Maple Leaf International School celebrate Pi Day with a fun and meaningful tradition that combines mathematics, laughter, and charity.
A Fun School Tradition

Students can purchase tickets for a chance to gently place whipped cream on a participating teacher’s face in the “Pie the Teacher” activity. When the event begins, volunteers step forward and students take turns delivering the playful pies, filling the area with laughter and cheers.

Turning Laughter into Kindness

Although the activity is lighthearted and humorous, it also carries a meaningful purpose. All funds raised from the ticket sales are used to support charity projects and community service initiatives organized by the students.

Through this event, students celebrate mathematics in a creative way while also learning the value of generosity and giving back to the community.
